ต้องการสร้าง Image File จาก CD ใช้ Command ตามด้านล่างนี้

dd if=[Source] of=[Destination]

หากมีปัญหา Error ว่า

dd: [Source]: Resource busy

กรณีนี้จะเจอกับ CD ให้ทำการ umount ออกก่อน (ไม่ใช่ Eject CD นะ)

มีแผนการจะย้ายข้อมูล (รวมถึง OS) จากเครื่องหนึ่งสู่อีกเครื่องหนึ่ง แต่หากต้อง Install ใหม่ทั้งหมดจะต้องเสียเวลามานั่ง Config ค่าต่างๆใน OS ทั้ง เช่น iptables, Bind, User Authentication เลยคิดว่า Clone ทั้งหมดมาเลยจะง่ายกว่า

โดยส่วนตัวยังไม่มีความรู้เรื่อง Linux มาก แต่โชคดีที่ได้พี่สัญสอน ในสถานการณ์ตอนนี้มีอยู่ 2 เครื่อง คือ (1) เครื่อง Cache DNS (ใช้ชื่อว่า A - 192.168.1.1) และ (2) เครื่องเปล่า (ให้ชื่อว่า B - 192.168.1.2) โดยมีขั้นตอนดังนี้
